Did you know that car seats expire? As an advocate for Safe Kids Worldwide, my daughter Brie and I headed to a car seat safety checkpoint located at a doctor’s office today in Coconut Creek. Since we were there, I decided to go ahead and have my car checked too and found out that I did indeed need to tighten up the straps for my little ones to move less than an inch, a modification was in order! With that being said, did you know that 76% of car seats are installed incorrectly?
That number alone makes these safety checkpoints spearheaded by SKW more than worth it. When you see one, stop by…tips on proper installation will be available, but that’s not all; these checkpoints offer discounted rates for car seats through SKW.
