The day before Thanksgiving I got to spend it helping out and giving back and it felt great!! With 1 in 4 children going hungry in South Florida feedingsouthflorida.org is the leading domestic hunger relief organization serving Palm Beach, Broward, Miami-Dade and Monroe Counties through a network of nonprofit partner agencies, including soup kitchens, food pantries, homeless shelters, group homes and other emergency food service programs, according to their website.
If you have the chance to lend a helping hand, especially during the holidays, I can’t express to you the gratitude of this organization, but also the fact that it is run like a fine-oiled machine, they have mastered the art of how to make this successful and they love what they do, the energy was infectious. I will be thinking of you all this holiday season and Happy Thanksgiving “eve!”
