This year I got to spend my birthday in the most celebratory of ways! I took part in an event at the stables where I ride in which 49 local foster kids came out and we had fun riding horses, doing crafts, practicing archery and playing horse shoes.
I ride at Sport Horse International in Delray Beach. It was such an amazing experience sharing a true love of mine, horseback riding, with these grateful little ones. The smiles on their faces were the best gift a gal could ask for and I cannot think of a better way to spend this day.
As Mrs. South Florida International I am always looking for ways to make a difference. From my involvement with Safe Kids Worldwide to the CAP Challenge I have started, it doesn’t matter whether its big or small, to me it is simply about making a difference in just one persons life that makes me so appreciative to be doing what I’m doing.
